A Social Media Specialist plays a vital role in executing engaging online strategies, managing various platforms, analyzing metrics to enhance performance, and cultivating a strong digital presence for a brand or organization across social media channels.
The Camden Phantoms Social Media Department is actively looking for a skilled Camden Phantom Football Club (CPFC) Social Media Specialist with hands-on experience in the industry. Our primary goal is to create, publish, and enhance content throughout the Camden Phantom’s Social Media Portfolio. The appointed Social Media Specialist will play a vital role in bolstering the Camden Phantoms' presence across various social channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to develop innovative content strategies for Camden Phantom social media channels. Responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of content creation — from brainstorming and planning to execution and sharing across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and upcoming digital spaces.
• Create, edit, and curate engaging and shareable TikTok content that is specifically tailored to connect with and captivate our loyal fan base. Our team focuses on producing content that resonates with our audience, sparking interactions and building a strong sense of community through each carefully crafted video. By staying true to our brand identity and understanding the interests of our followers, we strive to cultivate a vibrant online presence that keeps fans coming back for more.
• Stay informed and updated on the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and features to guarantee the relevance and attractiveness of our content to the audience.
Assist in scheduling and implementing a detailed daily, weekly, and monthly social media calendar to help plan and organize content effectively across platforms.
• Support the Social Media Coordinator by assisting in the day-to-day content publishing tasks on the Camden Phantoms' various social media platforms. Your role also involves verifying that the channels adhere to industry best practices to maximize their effectiveness in engaging with our audience.
•Provide real-time coverage of Camden Phantoms Football Club (CPFC) games, events, and player appearances to effectively capture and create reactionary, in-the-moment content that engages our audience on various social media platforms. By delivering up-to-the-minute updates and highlights, we aim to keep fans informed and connected to the excitement surrounding the team's latest happenings.
• Monitor Camden Phantoms' social media platforms in real-time to stay informed about the latest updates, engage with the audience promptly, and maintain a proactive online presence.
• Identify and respond promptly to real-time, emerging trends and present-day occurrences to curate content for dissemination on various social platforms.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse range of internal stakeholders to effectively coordinate and drive forward content initiatives and creative projects within the organization.
•The role also entails providing support across various tasks as needed. This may involve aiding with additional responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications:
• The candidate has a proven track record of showcasing their skills in brainstorming and developing one-of-a-kind social media posts tailored specifically for TikTok, as well as other various social media platforms.
• The candidate possesses significant video editing experience, adept at utilizing CapCut along with other video editing software tools to produce engaging and professional content.
• Strong storytelling, copywriting, and copyediting skills are essential assets that can greatly enhance the quality of any content. These skills involve the ability to craft engaging narratives, fine-tune messaging to resonate with the audience, and ensure that the copy is polished and error-free. A proficient storyteller can capture the reader's attention, a skilled copywriter can compel action, and a meticulous copy editor can refine the text to perfection. The combination of these abilities is a powerful tool in the realm of communication, enabling individuals and businesses to effectively convey their messages and connect with their target demographic.
• Experience working in Photoshop or other photo-editing software is highly valuable in today's digital age.
